Brownlee seemingly unstoppable

alistair-brownleeCommentators were quick to draw comparisons with Tiger Woods and Roger Federer and who could blame them as the 21 year old four from four in the Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series!

Racing in front of a home crowd on the 2012 Olympic course, Brownlee led from start to finish after making the initial split during the swim leg, along with his younger brother Jonathan but it was a closing 28:43 run split that stood out in what was a very professional performance.

In the other race of the day, Nicola Spirig overcame a swim deficit to regain the leading group during the bike leg before outsprinting Lisa Norden at the finish for her maiden Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series win.
